Changing Your Astrology Fortune With One Simple Step?

I talk about a number of traditional astrological methods and concepts in my posts on this site about astrological signs. But the truth is that I’m interested in anything that has shown to be of value after thorough testing. If I really thought a lot of modern astrological technique could give me some great answers, then I would use that. It just so happens that I’ve always gotten solid results using traditional astrology techniques.

And I have found some interesting results using a little known book outside of Europe. This book is all about solar returns. Are you familiar with this concept? It is the study of reviewing your birthday chart each new year - almost. You see, it’s not exactly your birthday, but it could be. It’s actually a chart for the exact position of your Sun at your original birth. So if you get a birth chart from a software program, or from many free astrology websites online which you can search, you’ll see your exact Sun degree.

For instance, you may know that you are the zodiac sign of Pisces for your Sun. By inputting your birth time and place into a program, you can find out that your Sun sign may be 15 degrees 23′ Pisces. Remember that each sign has 30 degrees. And each degree has 60 minutes. Not like time minutes, it’s just that each degree is divided into 60 bits that are called minutes (of arc).

So your solar return for your next birthday would be the exact time in which the Sun is at 15 degrees and 23 minutes of Pisces. It could be a couple hours from your true birthtime. Or it could be nearly a day earlier or later. It depends on where you are at that moment. And where you are is the whole key to possibly changing your astrological fortune.

Ciro Discepolo has an most interesting book, translated into English from Italian, entitled Transits and Solar Returns - A New System of Analysis for Two Ancient Methods. He has hard data from many tens of thousands of examples that show the influence of being in a different place at your solar return time. His book is quite detailed, though you can get the core concepts from following a few simple tips. The point is, that while your natal chart is always resonating with you and you do indeed carry that vibe through your life, you can also improve or lessen the quality of your next year by the position of the planets at your solar return in your chart. It’s a resonant Sun point (obviously). So being in San Diego at that time versus being in Paris can give a totally different result for your year ahead.

I invite you to read his book for all the details. But to share one key point from his research - review the solar return chart’s ascendant value (the zodiac sign exact degree of the 1st house). Say that’s 15 Libra. Ok, so you do not want that degree in the 1st, 6th or 12th house of your birth chart if possible. By that, I mean, setup a chart for your next year where the Sun is at the exact same point as the Sun of your birth chart, as I described earlier, for wherever you may be. Then check that the rising sign degree of that chart does not correspond to being in your birth chart’s 1st, 6th, or 12th houses; that is does not contain 15 Libra. That’s a good start.  There are several other tips but this helps. Check different cities you can go to move that degree out of those houses of the solar return chart. Doing so, according to Ciro’s research, will have a beneficial impact on your overall fortune for the following year.
